Delete your Lexiqo account

This page explains how to delete your Lexiqo account and its associated data, both in the Lexiqo mobile apps (iOS and Android) and on this website. An account is optional: you can play without creating one.

From the app

This is the most direct method, and it takes effect immediately:

1. open the Lexiqo app and sign in to your account;
2. go to Settings;
3. tap « Delete my account », then confirm.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

By email

If you no longer have access to the app or to your account, write to us from the email address linked to the account, with « Account deletion » as the subject. We process the request once we have verified that this address matches the account. hello@lexiqo.app

Data that is deleted

Deletion permanently removes from our servers:

• your account and your email address;
• the hash of your password;
• your scores, your nickname and the game history linked to your account;
• your notification tokens and your team memberships.

Data kept in anonymous form

The gameplay data used to improve score calculation (submitted words, similarity scores) is unlinked from your account when it is deleted. It is no longer tied to you or to your device, and can no longer identify you. We keep it in this anonymous form to keep improving the game.

Usage statistics and crash reports (Firebase) are already anonymous and are not linked to any account.

Timing

Deletion from the app takes effect immediately. A request sent by email is processed within 30 days at the latest.
